Never had the pleasure of auditioning the Kiseki but do recall being smitten with a Koetsu Rosewood in that same price bracket. That cartridge made some serious music.. buttery smooth, a bit on the lush and romantic side but very enjoyable. I suspect the Kiseki is probably somewhere in that category as well.

I have never heard a Koetsu but a few people have told me the Purple Heart is a slight shift more towards analytical than Koetsu but not as far as a Lyra
