Yes! MUCH better! I changed the room a bit and brought them in some. I had 2 problems = too far apart in this room and I was listening off axis. This room is difficult to use the WASP method because of no wall behind the listening area, a fireplace to the left and a window beside the fireplace. So I decided to change the furniture such that I have a chair directly in the middle of the speakers forming a perfect triangle. It changed the sound dramatically which is what blows my mind with these speakers. They are THE most placement sensitive speakers I have ever heard. The only thing I have left to do is to get an acoustic panel that I will place in front of the fireplace to help with that. They sound infinitely better not being so far apart and the imaging is unreal. I am very happy with the changes made. The ear test works best in this room.

The WASP should still work with no wall behind where you sit. It is in effect, taking all of the speaker and room interactions into account - even if you don't have a wall - to allow the best placement option. If Wilson has now posted it in the manuals now, then read it and follow it as best you can. I haven't read what they have written, but if this is not in there - I would try for a triangular relationship of approximately 1:1 to 1 to 1:15 - meaning, tweeter to tweeter measurement compared to tweeter to the apex between your ears.
