I was born in Seattle. Lived there till we moved when I was 12. Our family were some of the originating founders.
Used to have a favorite T shirt “WA state rain festival Jan 1 to Dec 31. Ha. Miss the green and beauty. Tired of brown scrub brush.

I guess we have to put up with the wet for all the green and beauty. I am used to it now.

Thanks all.

Welcome to the party, Jay, from a fellow Pacific Northwesterner. I think you'll enjoy the climate here on AA.

Thanks all.

I was just going through the systems that members have built just in thus thread. It is impressive. I have a simple system.

Rega RP6 turntable
Acer Ultrabook for Spotify
Devialet D200
AudioPhysic Virgo 25
Audience/Audioquest cables

Simple and satisfying for me. Helped me get out of the upgrading cycle for the last 3-5 years or so.

I have been dreaming of a new system in the house that we are building. Unfortunately, some of the components that I am interested in are not represented in our area like Revel Salon / Magico speakers, Gryphon amplification etc... How do you deal with such issues? Travel to audition?

I really appreciate all the replies.

Best Regards,
Jay

Welcome Jay,

Looks like you're going to do some upgrading with a new house coming along and getting into streaming. That's awesome.

One warning - this is not an audioholic self help group!

I'm guessing your gear list will get fatter and your wallet thinner.

Rega RP6 turntable
Acer Ultrabook for Spotify
Devialet D200 amp
AudioPhysic Virgo 25 speakers
Audience au24 speaker cables
Audioquest Cinnamon USB cable
Any bets on how long it will take for this list to change?

Tom
