Got it just in time for a long weekend! Enjoying Roon radio’s route through 80s new wave this afternoon. Not well recorded and treble rich in general, but better than ever before through the Zenith. Greater depth, detail and smoothness.

Glad I did it, and hope I’m never done.

Recently moved from an Innuos Zenith mkiii to a Pulsar (use it as a Roon endpoint). It provides more separation/stage/details, and the Zenith was no slouch. Initially bass seemed exaggerated, but not now. I’ll have to compare the Sense app vs Roon endpoint in a while. On the Zenith Sense sounded better but I get so much from Roon I always run that way. I’m hoping the difference isn’t as big on the Pulsar. I’m curious how much more could be eeked out with something other than USB and integrated timing to the DAC. I’ll probably try the flagship Denefrips streamer when released…

Yes dedicated streamers make a big difference on nicer systems. The difference was not as big going to the Pulsar as from a laptop to the Zenith.
