My Vintage Tube adventure
I picked up a par of Wurlitzer mono Blocks a few weeks ago, and they had problems, so it was off to a well respected good friend for a look see. It appears the only thing left of the original Wurlitzer organ amps were the chassis, the main transformer, and the 6L6 sockets, after replacing the shrunken shims in the Main transformers, cleaning up some poor solder joints, as well as a general going over, I picked them up today and they are singing nicely driven by my Aragon Aurum Preamp. The Yamaha NS690's sound wonderful driven by these amps which are 6L6 PP design. Now to do some research on tube upgrades! Pics are available in my sig if interested!
Happy New Year, Jim

Jim, when I click your link, I'm taken to a page that asks for me to login. I know I've been able to view your link, previously...
