Ivan.......Many thanks. It is always fun to be exposed to something I am unfamiliar with that turns out to be exceptional. From the first swap of the Platinum Starlight USB cable for the Shunyata Sigma USB cable I knew my reference Wireworld cable had lost its crown. I certainly don't want to leave the impression that Wireworld's Platinum Starlight USB cable isn't a great performer. It is, and I have enjoyed many years with it in my sound system, but it's like you've said, "Everything is good until you hear something better." That's exactly what happened when I discovered the Shunyata Sigma's performance. There's no denying, it is better. Is it 2.35 times better compared to the price of a 1.5 meter Platinum Starlight USB cable? Well, that's a decision only the end user can make.

Dan - as always, a thoroughly enjoyable read and extremely well written. If you are ever looking for some pocket money to supplement your audio purchases, I’m sure there are many that would employ your talents!

My experience with this cable mirrors as you have articulated it, thankfully given I have little talent in this area! There is no question it is a component upgrade in itself...

Thanks again for taking the time to share with us all.

Jamie.......
Mark.......
Ed.......

Thank you guys for the compliments. I have been listening to the Living Room system with the Shunyata Sigma USB cable connected back to the Aurender N100H and the Yggdrasil DAC since 8:30 AM. I continue to be awe struck by the natural sound that delivers astonishing clarity with complete absence of glare. This is a remarkable USB cable.

So pleased you're enjoying this remarkable USB cable, Dan.

I remember the first full night I was listening to mine, and I just stopped listening to "equipment" and became fully immersed in the experience and joy of listening to music.

It's pretty wonderful...

Stephen.......Yesterday and today I've made a conscious decision to listen to music in my library that I tend to overlook most of the time, music I typically skip past as I scroll through the cover art in Aurender Conductor app. I have a bit over 1500 CD's on my server, actually duplicated on both servers, but I tend to focus primarily on about 120 to 140 recordings I enjoy the most for repeated listening, that and playlists I have assembled. This past two days I have intentionally avoided my favorites and dug into the less played recordings. It has given me the opportunity to rediscover a lot of good music, in addition to enjoying the Shunyata Sigma USB cable's contribution to the Living Room sound system. The Sigma USB cable truly raised the pleasure of listening.

That's so great...getting mine did the same thing for me. It really got me more engaged with my music collection on the whole; I stopped listening to gear and started listening to music. For example, Louis Armstrong's trumpet on the Ella and Louis album was always a bit too hot and glare-y. Not with the Alpha USB; its now sweet and extended.

You mentioned so many interesting recordings your review yesterday, I am going to have to look those up and get those that I don't have.

Enjoy, Dan!
