I've tried a few aftermarket isolation feet on my Sony SCD-1, it made it worse.

Interesting.
But what is amazing in those isolation things, is that it tends to forget the main problem : vibrations are in the air so as soon as our electronics are in the listening room, they will still vibrate, even those in levitation !
The very best isolation would be to have the electronics outside the listening room !

Totally agree. I used to have my equipement in a room that was behind the listening room. I fed all the cables through the walls. It was awesome!!!!!

For speakers, I have always used spikes. I really like Audiopoints. I just installed some audiopoints on a sub-woofer and it made an amazing difference.

To think many performers buy their wires, amps. and instruments at places like guitar center and here we are buying these type of things. I thing this is overdoing it . For a turntable it makes sense .

I also have a Sony SCD-1,at 58Lbs it's very heavy. Also has 5 feet supporting it. Makes it a challenge to find the right isolation support.
I have a custom made Neuance platform under the SCD-1 that gives a subtle sonic improvement.

Any suggestions on the proper Symposium product?
I remember seeing one that had 4 separate pads on one large platform(the Quantum).
The Sony has 5 feet so the 4 pad platform may not work.
Maybe the Symposium Ultra Platform?
