Default I need a TT motor

I have a stand alone motor that had a problem with the 33 1/3 speed so I sent it back overseas for a replacement as it’s still under warranty, the problem is, I will not get it back for about 30 days so I’m looking for a motor I can either borrow, rent, or buy for a cheap price that I can use temporarily until I get my motor back. The size is not important as I can easily adjust the height and the distance from the Platter, If there’s anyone that has one please let me know. Thank you.

TT motors are not universally compatible since there are AC or DC motors as well as variations in rotational speed and different pulley sizes. In order to find an equivalent replacement you would need to provide some additional details. Good luck with your search!

My Platter is 301mm or 11.85” plus if the motor I can get has the potentiometer that it can adjust the speed then it shouldn’t matter what size my platter is as long as I can adjust and set the motor to the correct speed 33.3rmp and 45 rpm.

Most of the motors I have, unless they are specific to a particular brand of TT, do not have speed adjustments. Those are usually external.

Ok I think I found one made by Music Hall that has the speed control built in for like $349
I’m not sure if this is a good price, again this is only for temporary use, here’s the link:
