There just seems to be a more holographic dimension to the sonic presentation. The difference is like diving into crystal clear spring water flowing from deep underground versus swimming in a backyard pool. Sure, they are both brisk, enjoyable, wet and watery experiences, but the comparison ends right there. Such has been the difference in my music today. I have been awe struck since playing the first Liz Story disc early this morning. The improved sound is absolutely exhilarating, and oh so real. I am completely hooked. Symposium Rollerblock Jr.'s under the source components, plus the MEN220, the C1000C/P preamplifier and controller have remarkably raised the performance bar for my sound system. Just what I needed, something to make it even more difficult to turn the sound system off at night and go to bed.
Congratulations, Dan!
Sounds like those Rollerballs have been a worthy tweak, so much so that -
I'm sold! I just ordered 6 sets this evening, and Ivan says they're back-ordered for a couple of weeks, so I'll be waiting... After reading your reviews, as well as comments by other AA members and those posted on the Symposium site, I realized no system optimization would be complete without proper component isolation. Assuming I like what I hear with the Rollerblocks - and I have good reason to expect that I will - I will still have to explore proper speaker/floor termination and some form of speaker cable suspension, since mine are resting on the floor. I am spending more money than I had planned to this year. Could it be the "flu"?...Ted.

Ted.......I fully understand that statement. Ditto for me for the past two years. Serious cash flow, that's for sure, but money won't do me any good in a coffin, so I may as well enjoy the life I have now.

I had originally placed Rollerblock Jr.'s under my MCD500, and a subtle improvement took place in the sound's dimension. Then Howard posted that he isolated his MEN220 and his C500C/P along with his MCD/MDA1000 on Rollerblock Jr.'s with excellent results. That was good enough for me to move ahead, and isolate my gear, too. It is rewarding, and I fully expect you to be equally impressed with the improved 3D aspects of the sound stage, and the greater sense of air around all instruments and voices. You are in for a treat.
