Nothing comes to mind... many other class A amps out there but not hybrids like the M1.2s other than Tenor audio monoblocks at $90k.
Do you know of any here in Texas? One dealer here was suppose to be a vendor but I guess that it didn't pan out.

Contact Vladimir and Elina Lamm. If not, think about becoming a dealer yourself.

I'll send the company a email in the AM- I'm not very good at being a salesman so I'll pass on the dealership idea. I'm guessing that your new Wilson's are sounding right because of better amplification-Lamm amps?

It is a combo that I am truly impressed with for sure. The two compliment each other in all the right ways and the synergy is superb. No big news here, Wilson and Lamm are a known grand-slam combo that is always tops at all the shows, especially the bigger, more efficient Wilsons and the tubed Lamms. I find the less efficient Sophia 2s to be "energized" by the M1.2 hybrids to perfection for my ears.

The Lamm LL2D tubed preamp elevates that performance to a near religious experience in sheer musicality that mesmerizes and hypnotizes but the lack of remote control with the Lamm pre and the extra transparency and resolution of the Ayre KX-R keeps the Ayre in my system. Will I ever sell my Lamm LL2D? No way....

That's good to know. Most of the time dealers have mismatched components that they try to sell as good sound. The hard part for me has been trying to sort through the maze of components to find the correct ones that match and as a result provide excellent music and a over all synergy to a audio playback system. I've achieved this with my 2 systems so far. I feel the same about my 2102 as you do about you Lamm's- I'll never sell.
Now- maybe something for the living room- maybe Lamm? Time will tell.

I'd suggest speakers that are truly neutral, open, airy and have effortless dynamics to pair with Lamm. You want to be able to experience the harmonically rich, full bodied tonality of Lamm on those speakers that can open a window into the "soul" of Lamm. Wilsons do that, as I am sure most electrostats and perhaps magneplanar speakers would, except that not all are tube friendly so the hybrids like the M1.2/M2.2s would do the trick.

When I drove the SF GMs with the Lamms and especially with the LL2D preamp in the chain, I felt the SF were holding the Lamm back from reaching their true potential, although the overall presentation was very rich and musical and Alberto would smile ear to ear if he heard it... , the Wilsons truly let the Lamm's breathe without coloring the sound.

I would not be truly as happy with just any SS amp driving the Wilsons though. The 501s did great driving them, better than other amps I've heard but the Lamm reach a balance point higher up on the harmonically richer scale as well as better bass control, slam and definition as well as reaching up higher in the highs with more sparkle and airyness that sounds very natural and non-fatiguing unless the recording is really overcooked.

Thanks for the tip. As you already know, the only Wilson's that have sounded right to me have been the Duette's. I've heard the bigger Wilson's driven by the best from Arye,Boulder,McIntosh,Accuphase,Naim & ARC and feel these do not sound right even though the source component is excellent in my opinion. So, Lamm must be doing something right with regards to driving those big speakers. I'm not a fan of SF- they do well only on certain types of music in my opinion. Spendor is a more neutral and truthful speaker based on my own experiences with SF. Spendor does well with all types of music vs certain formats.

I believe you Serge, although I don't think I can smile more than I currently do with my set up without pulling some facial muscles .
