Mac11 - that's very nice to do. My best listening sessions were last year when my dad came to town and I surprised him with my new setup. We enjoyed a few shots of Linje too!

Totally agree. Wish I could again have a listening session with my Dad. I remember one such session shortly after I had purchased my first Hi-End rig.....those were the days

I love my MCD 500... but I use it primarily for it incredible DAC's, I hardy ever play CD's in it.

As much as I love the MCD 500 my LP-12 is what I do my serious listening with. Eyes closed, lights off, serious as shit listening.

I wanna like CD's... I just don't.

My brain and ears are analog.

Check the MC2102 and run your MCD500 straight and balanced to the amp- no preamp. I'll bet you'll change your mind about CD's.

I wish that that were so. I would LOVE to love cd's.

Maybe with LAMM 1.1 and the MCD500 direct to it...

CD's don't sound right with SS amps, you need tubes to help with the natural/analog sound- I'm guessing that the Lamm's are tubed? So few Lamm dealers here in the states right now.

Not all dealers may be listed. I happen to live within a few miles of 2 different Lamm dealers with my luck. I have become a huge Lamm fan. I was thinking the other day what I would replace my M1.2s with if I had to someday. Nothing comes to mind... many other class A amps out there but not hybrids like the M1.2s other than Tenor audio monoblocks at $90k.
