Dave, I say we make it a triathlon and shoot near you so I can hear this Rogues and the new Salons! Craig

Oops! Sorry, I will blame it on the spellchecker! Either way, I would like to hear them!

Dave - how did it go?
We tried to shoot a .22 silhouette match. When my shooting partner's gun case was picked up from the bench and blown across the range we looked at each other and said, "Breakfast!!" and gave it up. Could not keep the animals on the rail in the wind so were only shooting the swingers, which isn't the real thing. What's that famous saying...........? Breakfast is the better part of valor?

Glenn, we had a total of 5 squads show up at Atglen this morning ! in two rounds (50 bird course) I managed a respectable (for me) 36 /37, keep in mind a '50' has never been shot there. My buddy Barry Hall (Master Class shooter) managed to shoot a 44 / 42 ! Given some of the crazy antics that the wind was doing to the birds that's an amazing bit of shooting.

FWIW, I shot my Benelli Super Sport

Good shooting on a very difficult day.
Will have to give Atglen's sporting clays a try this fall.

Wish I could join you. Am shooting regional and national BPCR matches pretty much from this weekend until the end of July. Will be 'out of action' (sporting clays action, that is) until November.

On a positive sporting clays note, that new Remington 1100 Classic sure looks tasty. When I lived in NM my dove gun was an 1100 LT 28ga (like .410 bore shells, 28ga ammo was once upon a time affordable). If I can find one with a 28" barrel it should be a nice shotgun for our fun & games.

While Craig and his crew were enjoying the offerings of the Binghamton, NY area we had our 5th annual 'Clays on the Susquehanna'. Stayed at my buddy's B&B in Marysville and shot three different clubs in the area. Great weather and fun was had by all !
