Any Amarra or PureMusic Users notice any conflicts?

Better use? worse?

Found out it now supports multiple cover art.

Let's hope there will be some improvements and not just another pretty face(lift). I guess we'll find out in October.

Jplay sorta works with iTunes on PCs. And there are programs like JRiver etc that do the same thing (dynamically change the sample and bitrate).

Also Pure Music, Amarra and Audirvana and others like it do more than change the bitrate. There's something else at work.

There is an old Ukranian saying... touch it and it will smell!!!

Just upgraded to itunes 11 and I can't get Pure music to play most tracks... crashing VERY BAD atm... just stalls completely trying to cache to the memory player... has anyone else experienced this? I am working through it but not pleasant experience at all... will let you know if I can track down the issue.

If not will have to find a copy of previous version of itunes (10.7) (EDIT Just downloaded 10.6.3 off itunes site so can at least now go back if I can't suss out the issue with the new version...

hmmm not happy with it at all so far :-(

(2nd Edit) - New road block, it wont let me install earlier version while new version is on the Mac Air... will I lose all the art work, and the CDs i have cached into itunes plus the MANY hours spent re-organizing, changing and re-organising album info if I uninstall the new version before reloading the old... does anyone know if I can back all this up first... aaaaaahhhhh :-0

(3rd Edit) Have taken off memory play on Pure Music and has at least stopped crashing... not a good outcome... memory play makes it sound better and I don't like going backwards on sound quality... might just engineer myself back to earlier version till its resolved if i can get there.

Went across to Pure Music 1.88a the other day, will see if it has changed again since then thanks Derek. (Edit - no patches there unfortunately)

Was about to post a thread saying what a nice level of sound quality improvement it is with the new version of Pure Music... really surprised... just not hearing it at all much now with the itunes 11 hijacking my day.

If the older version was working fine, why mess with the update?
