I have the 804S and right now I am sitting 10 feet away and both speakers are eight feet apart toed in as much as physically possible without having them being audibly obtuse.
I pretty much agree with Bluesky that scientifically or not it is what sounds good to YOUR ears.
I am dialed in to Pandora radio listening to Peter Green listening to "A Fool No More"...sweet.

I love my Signature 800's toed in just shy of a perfect triangle. They sit about 10-11' apart and I sit about 9' away.

I was playing with them the other day and had them toed in as a perfect triangle. Opening them up slightly (with less toe in) was a huge increase in soundstage and I think I hit the sweet spot.

I think they love to be towed in some as they are pretty good off-axis and cast a wide sweet-spot.

Slightly off topic but didn't want to start a new thread just for a simple question. For those with the 800 Diamond, in looking at the specs, the website mentioned them weighing 225lbs. Is that PER SPEAKER or both together? I am in the military and move a lot, and speakers weighing 225lbs a piece may preclude them from my shopping list. Thanks for the info.

It's per speaker! Not something you wanna move around with. You may consider the 805 with stereo subwoofers if you move a lot.

Lugging the 800's downstairs nearly killed me. They stay with the house if I move

If only they were 225 lbs each - try 275!
