Default Maggie 3.7/20.7 room size?

Was wondering how big of rooms all you large Maggie owners are using? I'm in a dedicated 13 x 19 x 9 foot room. Gear is listed in my sig. and room pictures is in my system thread. I have to use them on the short wall. Any one else using a room around this size? Thanks.

I have the 20.7s and placed them in a rectangular basement room that measures 12 feet by 8 feet by 30 feet.

My speakers are on the 12 foot wall.

I think that your room, aided by some small acoustical tweaks, will work well with the dipoles. The 20.7s need room to breath and your room is big enough.

Thanks! I have a stairwell behind me too, so a little more than I posted. I'm going to audition both the 3.7i and 20.7 today.

My listening room is about 19.5' (W) x 27.9' (L) 10.3'/12' (H). The 20.7's are placed along the width of the room.

I've got 3.7i's and my room is about 15' wide and 19' long with an 8' ceiling. Speakers are 5.5' out from one of the short walls. But the room is irregular. The front wall behind the speakers in only 11' wide. It gets 3' wider on the left side at about 4' from the front wall. It gets a little over 1' wider on the right side at about 9' from the front wall. So the right speaker is a lot closer to a side wall then the left speaker. But I'm getting imaging, speakers mostly disappear and sound great.

Hi all. Thought some of you could help. So I have someone that is going to make my room for 20.7s one day. I had a plan that was 17x30. The WAF comes down and thinks the poles should be in the wall (basement ). This reduces it to 13x30. I don't want to do that but I see some of you have experience at this width. Could you comment? Should I stick to my guns? Any advantages to a room that is 13 vs 17' wide? Thanks Tim

Yes, I have five GiK Monster Bass Traps with range limiters and scatter plates and four Q7D Diffusors. The difference was pretty massive. Bass tightened up a lot. Harshness was eliminated.
