Default Audio Research CD6 vs CD9

Hi all,
I'm new to this forum but I really like it, so much great input and knowledge, it makes for such interesting reading, just getting back to my beloved audio/music hobby and would love to hear opinions on ARC CD6 vs CD9 opinions, building a new setup consisting of Amati Futura, Ref 150, Ref 5SE and above. Do you think there is huge difference between those two players, I know that 6 is solid state and 9 tube just wonder if extra $$ is worth it? previously had ML 39/ 360S combo I see lots good comments in regards to Esoteric but have no knowledge about this brand.
Also would like to hear your opinions on what speaker and power cables you guy could recommend, many years ago had a set up with all Valhalla speaker and interconnects PS audio power and really like it but that was about 10 years ago so not sure how cable tech has progress.
Thank you in advance for your input

O also just paid for AA subscription will that allow me to see your AA market ads?
Kind Regards,
Andrew
