Friday nights and Sunday afternoon are vinyl time for me. "The expense and the inconvenience...."

Friday night is usually 'Rock, R&B & Reggae' (Reggae especially in summer).

Sunday mornings its Jazz & Sunday afternoon its 'The Blues'.

There was a time when the musician and the engineer produced an album intended to be listened to from the first to last song. Today there is little if any coherency from one track to another. When I listen to vinyl I spend the evening realizing how great the sonics are for the time when the album was produced and also the "story" being told. It is a time to sip a beverage and just listen.
