Dan.....I agree. That's some nice gear. I never owned Kenwood in the day but would like to find some of these pieces. A friend in high school was a Kenwood user. My jewerler friend has the 'ttable, a couple of receiver's, intergrated's and some JBL's like yours. Sweet

Dave

The Kenwood KA-9100 integrated amplifier was well designed.

I used to have a KA-6100... Sweet little piece, it was handed over by an uncle. Lights and meters worked flawlessly. It sounded alright... I think it looked way cooler than it sounded.

I'm glad I clicked on this thread, this nice quality Kenwood gear was a little before my time.

By the early 80's most of the Japanese stuff real junk and I found myself a SAE.

I have owned several Kenwood integrated amps, a Kenwood tuner, and a Kenwood cassette deck. I always found Kenwood gear built during the 70' to be very well designed, built with a high degree of craftsmanship, and performed very well. To this day, I still find myself fascinated with vintage Kenwood gear, especially the integrated amplifiers. Anyone else a Kenwood fan?

Kenwood KA-9150
Im probably the largest collector of the Kenwood Supreme series , so yes Im a huge Kenwood Fan

Dan,

Kenwood went on to become KENSONIC Accuphase ..... where today its simply known as just ACCUPHASE!

So, the pedigree is there ......

Cheers!
