Default Listening fatigue @70dBa

Is this listening fatique?

I noticed that while listening on moderate volume levels @70dBa sitting between my OB1i, within a couple of songs I felt like I want to close my eyes. Sometimes, I find myself dozing off.

Has anyone experienced this?

I can't tell if you are serious or not, but "listening fatigue" is when you want to stop listening because the sound becomes "too much": too loud, too hard, too shrill, etc.

What you are experiencing is just plain fatigue .

Levi.......That is not listening fatigue, that is pleasure and relaxation. But you already know that.

Thanks for clarification. I don't think it is listening fatigue I am experiencing.

It is a weird anomally in my system.

Levi.......I can fall asleep with my system at 85 dB and louder, it just depends on my state of mind. I'll get comfortable in my sweet spot, the music washing over me, and the next thing I know I'm waking up from a snooze. It happens.

Thanks Dan.

I figured it is like listening to a live Opera. It takes a great deal of energy to faithfully listen to such an event.

Listening to my PMC OB1i is always an event for me.
