Yes, it’s one of those songs that’s been played to death by most audiophiles, so much so that it doesn’t do much for me anymore musically speaking. But.. I’ve noticed a while ago for whatever reason, to my ears, gear can be judged rather quickly for “musicality” and midrange purity. This song sounds very different from an emotional connection aspect on different gear. It either “engages” you or it is just meh...

I tend to like the Bluray concerts in general. If you like the music, the video combined with good sound is very enjoyable. Of course "looking" at Diana Krall is not hard on the eyes either.

I like Se Voce Ama by Melody for this reason as well....as you pointed out in your review comparing Asgard and Val 2.

But, I still really like listening to Se Voce Ama, musically speaking. I only discovered it a few months ago.

I have a new reference now but it is not widely available so I didn't ask Jerome for it. It is the Carmen Gomes Inc. Thousand Shades of Blue album, "Oblivion". I have it in 96Khz/24bit. Wow that woman has a silky voice.

Jerome, look at that perfect triangulation of the sweet spot. You are a perfectionist my friend and thank you! I am very much looking forward to exploring the possibility of acquiring the Falcons.
