No offense to Mikhail; I have a couple of Woo's, but I would strongly recommend an audition of Headamp's gear by Justin. It takes a while to get an order, but the quality is surpassed by no one.

Has anyone ever listened to the WA234 Monoblocks both as a headphone amp and driving speakers?

Unfortunately, not with speakers, but with HE 1000's (version 1's) a few years back in Singapore. They sounded great and very warm, but the source being used was not that great. I doubt I really heard them. I would love to hear your impressions if you do get the chance.

I heard them as a headphone amp at RMAF 2015 with the JPS Labs Abyss headphones and Mytek Manhattan dac. They sounded very good but I had no desire to buy them. I have read that the Woo Audio WA5 sounds 98% as good for a lot less money. Personally, my favorite Woo Audio amp is the WA6-SE. It punches way above its price point and offers incredible value.

I've never been a fan of Blue Hawaii even though everyone else loves it. I guess in all fairness, I just don't like Stax headphones. On the other hand, I love his GS-X MK2. One of the best solid state headphone amps I have heard so far. I highly recommend it.

Which headphones did you audition the GS-X with?

I brought my own Fostex TH900 in my quest to find the ultimate headphone amp for them. I can't remember if I listened to any other headphones with this particular amp...

The reason I asked is because the GS-X is supposed to be a very neutral, visceral amp of transparency and drive beyond most. Bright is what many complain about supposedly with headphones that have a tizzy or tipped up high frequency response. I have not heard the GS-X myself but am curious.
