Default Connecting Fathom 113v2 to Mc C2300

The back of the C2300 has 3 xlr outputs. The main balanced outputs go to my amps. The other two can go to the Fathom, correct? It appears one can hook up a mono connection to the left jack on the Fathom. Is there an advantage to hooking it up with two xlr cables?
Thanks.

A nice feature of the C2300 is the second and third set of stereo outputs that you can run to subs or another amp and independently turn them on and off from the front panel or from the remote. I use two cables for stereo feed to my sub. In my opinion this is preferred, otherwise you could miss info not passed by the channel you don't connect.

So the sub does not relieve your speakers of any range?

Correct, it picks up (with proper tuning) where the speakers fall off.

You also have the Salon2's? Where is your LP filter and frequency set?

I don't have Salon 2's. I set my sub's placement, crossover frequency, phase, and level manually using test tones, an SPL meter, and my ears. It took quite a bit of tuning to get it to blend in nicely. It's still not where I'd like it though.

The Fathom 113's (as I understand it) can be auto tuned, which should greatly reduce your efforts and drastically help set proper levels. I'm sure other Fathom owners can chime in on how to properly set it up.
