Ulysse Nardin’s Dual Time Manufacture Collection

Chinese New Year & Valentine is around the corner.

Those with deep pockets and have nothing else to upgrade (gears and all), might just want to consider the following "matched pair" of the Ulysse Nardin’s Dual Time Manufacture Collection, arguably the most functional GMT timepieces on the market. It allows a quick setting on the time zone of the hour hand forward and backward via the pushers on the bezel.

The Male Dual Time Manufacture, with a bold blue face emphasized by a geometric rope motif, tying the watch to its nautical roots. In an 18 ct rose gold case, it looks very sporty.

Its Female counterpart, the UN Dual Time Manufacture Lady is a classic beauty – showing a fresh face and new movement. The timepiece features a 37.5mm white gold case, offered in a pristine white mother-of-pearl dial and set with 32 diamonds bezel. Overall a beautiful timepiece for the ladies, appealing to a well-constructed timepiece with artistic beauty.

I've never been impressed by UN watches before except for the Dual Time Manufacture. And this specially created pair really stirred my feeling. Take a look at them and you will agree they are indeed beautiful creations. Beautiful isn't it? Especially the exquisite female piece. Ulysse Narden makes some fine complications, amazing functions, and very unique time pieces, like the Freak or Circus Minute Repeater. I'm not a fan of some of their novelty watches that are over the top ostentatious. But they can and do make some very beautiful watches.

Their Alexander The Great or the Genghis Kahn tourbillons are two extraordinary examples of their craftsmanship and beauty.

Yes, agree Ulysse Narden do makes some fine complications, amazing functions, and very unique time pieces, like the Freak or Circus Minute Repeater. Like you, I'm not a fan of their novelty watches as I felt all of them are over the top ostentatious.

But these pair of Dual Time Manufacture looked decent, alluring and beautiful and not crass at all.

These days, my focus is on Rolex, and their latest Day Date 40 really caught my attention, including the latest Oyster Perpetual Yacht Master in Rose Gold. Oh, the newest rubber/metal belt .... Killer.

Oh dear me, Ivan ..
The watch I can still barely afford. The car ... not in this lifetime.
Meanwhile, I am saving for the about to launch new E Class ... sometime July this year. I have not seen an pictures at all, but understandably its going to be like a S Class, even the size had been "expanded" to be near.
So many desires, so little money! Sigh!
