Yvettes have arrived!
I plan to set them up this weekend. I know that all rooms (and ears!) are different, but if any of the current Wilson/Yvette owners out there can provide some quick tips or best practices on setup and placement, I would greatly appreciate it! Also, does anyone know if these speakers would have already had some burn in time at the factory prior to shipping? Thanks in advance for your comments.

Congratulations! Your dealer is required to set them up. Why is that not happening?

Congrats on the Yvettes! I am pretty sure Wilson does a fair amount of breaking in the drivers during Q/A. The four different pairs of Wilson speakers I have owned, for the most part, never changed their sonic signature much with time. Enjoy straight out of the box.

I don't think they break them in at all...maybe metaphacts can shine some light on this. But regardless, it only takes maybe 20 hours to get most of the way there. I never hear any sonic change either.

About 20 hours of play after unpacking should pretty much complete the break-in. |

Thanks for setting me straight, Bill. Funny thing is, I've been to the factory and seen that bench...and forgot all about it
