Does anyone remember that room at RMAF 2018 (last year at the tech center) that had that sign posted to the door that said something like "no Diana Krall in here."

I skipped that room.

Hmm I hate to be a party pooper but I think her voice is shot and while I love her older stuff, I can't listen to the new stuff.

Shot? It has "matured". She is 55 now, not 29 when she recorded her first album "Stepping Out".

Damn, time flies by. This coming Friday I'll have been with my wife for 40 years. 40 freaking years! Where did it all go?

Anyway, does anyone know if this new LP was digitally mastered?

Thanks Serge. It's been a good ride. Hope it continues a bit longer.

I know what Marc’s saying though....I don’t think it’s shot per se, but it seems to have a bit of a more raspy brittle sound than the smoother warm presentation on her earlier albums. Guess that comes with age maybe....can’t believe she’s that old already! Anyone have this on vinyl yet? Wonder how it sounds.

I bought the vinyl yesterday and I can say the sound is excellent, but I would say after only one listening session that all titles are not musically excellent, a few songs are weaker.

I need to dive in again today, but globally I like it.
