Question Any Dire Straits Fans Here?

We recently received a new Oppo 203 player and were finally able to hear our new Brothers In Arms 20th Anniversary SACD.

If anyone has heard this SACD, I'd love to read your impressions.

IMO, the MoFi SACD is better.

There is no bad version, but I agree, the MFSL SACD is best, also MFSL recently launched the other discs as well, pretty good too.

There may always be ‘better’ but if you purchase any of the SHM SACDs of the Dire Straits catalogue, you are either there or very close. You can find them on Amazon.

The 5.1 surround SACD is outstanding. In “Money . . .”, the intro background organ staccato revolves around the room.

I am a big time Dire Straits & Mark Knopfler fan.

I have more CDs & digital downloads of Mark Knopfler's band and solo work in my music collection than any other artist.

Love 'em. I have both the Japanese SHM SACDs and the new Mobile Fidelity 45 RPM vinyl sets. All of them sound insanely good. One of my favorite albums has always been On Every Street which doesn't really get the audiophile publicity that their other albums do, but it's always been a favorite of mine.

“Calling Elvis” is one of my favorite driving tunes.

Big fan of Mark Knopfler I like his single self better than Dire Straits.
I have the 20th Anniversary Edition Re mixed 5.1 surround sound It's my go to demo for that ROCK&ROLL moment.
