Given those priorities and that price range, I'd try to demo a Moon 860 as well.

So it's a regular Class A-B design ? What sort/ size transformer does it use ? I couldn't see much detail in the manual not too many reviews out there at the moment ?

Got it. 3kw - so a very similar spec, price, etc to my Krell 302e. I guess that's no surprise really.

Did you see the English translation on pages 5 - 8 of the linked PDF?

NO...thanks! But great...the guy loves it but says that only audio research has a better midrange

That's the whole thing I am trying to decide on. My ref75 has the most delicious midrange i've ever heard in my system. The Dag kills it in every other measure. Not sure what to do.

What type of music do you prefer ? If your collection is full of Rock / Metal I would get the Dag. If you prefer Jazz/ female vocals/ easy listening the ARC. Any classical - if so what type ?

I would make the decision based on the type of music you like best.

Therein lies the problem. I love female vocals and jazz, yet I also love hard rock. I would say that I gain more benefits with the d'agostino than I lose. So I'm leaning towards it. I think I'll be the first person to buy one lol... I don't see a single person online who says they own one!

It seems like a good buy if you're in the market for a large SS amp given the demise of Krell. If you love hard rock I can't see how a 75w tube amp can be the best choice. Alternatively maybe an ARC Ref 250 for best of both worlds ?
