Best for HT, AVR or separates under 5k.
What is considered the best AVR or Separates for Home Theater use, 5k or under??
I own Amps, so it does not have to be included, plus needs to have HDMI. Thanks |

AVR = Denon A1 integrated. No competition besides the Pioneer SC-09 (I think that is the one...)

The AVP-A1 isn't integrated. It's strictly a pre/pro. No amplification.
It retails for a bit more than $5k at $7500.

Errr.. sorry... Limoncello + Vanilla vodka confuzzles me
I meant the AVR5308ci. And the pioneer unit is the SC09... The A1 is the separate, but that is I think 12-14 RETAIL (prob 8 or less for the two on AGon)...

Send some of those Limoncello + Vanilla vodkas my way.
Both the AVR5308ci and Pioneer SC09 are receivers. They retail for $5500 and $7000 respectively. The AVP-A1HDCI is a pre/pro. And for how sophisticated it is, she's quite the "bargain" for $7500.

Thanks for the leads.
I was looking at the Integra 9.9, but thought if I am going this far, I might find/take the next step up. |
