I tried to use it today....using blue sound and iPad..just couldn’t get into it. I still have the trial until 12/15. I’ll be honest Spotify just works much better and easier to find music and playlists I like.

I have been a Sublime+ subscriber but changed today to Studio Premier. Seems like the only loss is the ability to purchase albums at a discount. Was not purchasing albums from Qobuz anyway. I am still a Tidal monthly subscriber but I probably should cancel as I do not use Tidal much. Any reason to keep both? Not interested in Tidal hip-hop for sure.

Indeed great news. Keeping Tidal for now. Tough to beat the family plan pricing. Plus - so far in the US - Tidal has a more robust selection of the classical music I like.

I cut Tidal a week ago and haven’t missed it. A few days after I did that, Qobuz lowers their price. Together, those two actions were a nice raise.

The library differences were just not noticeable to me. It’s one embarrassment of riches versus another. $15 a month for hundreds of thousands or millions of albums - what a bargain. Quite unbelievable.

Now I have to work on AT&T for my phones and Direct TV. Lots of savings possible there.

I read on the Qobuz site you can only stream on one device at a time. Is this correct?

This is one disadvantage I see compared to Tidal......

Does anyone know what streams work with the Quboz app? The blue sound app is dreadful to use; Spotify connect is great...anything like that with Quboz....giving it another shot.

What devices are you trying to stream to, and what are you using as a control point? The Qobuz app works very well on iOS devices, and Qobuz is integrated into various streamers using their own apps (Linn, Auralic, LUMIN, and others). It also works very well with Roon.

This is helpful.

Right now I have a blue sound node 2 and it integrates with the spotify app on my iPad instead of using the blue sound app. The quboz app does not connect to the node 2, you have to use the node 2 app which is dreadful...

But you did answer another question as I am looking at purchasing a new streamer, particularly the auralic and if it can use the quboz app that would be great.

With any streamer that has the Tidal or Qobuz integrated into their app you have to use them through their app. You cannot use Qobuz or Tidal separately like you do Spotify Connect. So before you buy another streamer make sure you are comfortable with their native app.
