Smoke N Bones
My daughter picked this up for me after seeing them in a club in New Orleans. Killer New Orleans funk with horns! Nice mix and sonics, (think Earth, Wind and Fire with serious funk added!
www.smokeandbonesmusic.com Self Produced, and well done,
Jim

Been a heck of a last two weeks. Been sick, still recovering, wife had surgery, still recovering, helped the kids move and helping them fix up the new house. Haven't listened to the stereo since the last time I posted. Anyway, able to listen to it now, so just put on Steve Earle & The Dukes, "Guy".

Grant Green - Born to Be Blue

A great album for easy listening. I just love hearing the hollow body guitar.

Tamino | Amir

Saw Tamino perform live in a moderately sized arena last night with Colin Greenwood (Radiohead) on bass...mesmerising. Songs written in double harmonic scale sure have something magical.
