Default Audioquest to Shunyata

A month ago while trying to stay within a certain budget I purchased AQ NIAGARA 1000 with a variety of cables - Hurricane, Thunder and Tornado.
Although they sound great, I can’t get over the look... I don’t know what else to say.
Today I’m thinking of getting Denali 6000t with Sigma EF to the wall, Alpha EF to my MC462 amp and two Delta NR for my c2600 and LUMIN T2. And not only for the potential of upgrading aesthetically.
Am I on the right track or crazy?

Nope. You're not crazy. Unless you are crazy which would make me crazy too because I find it normal. A room should be inviting. It should embrace you when you enter. If your gear doesn't do that then, if you can, change it so that it does.

We are all crazy. Last month I bought AQ Niagara 5000 and 7000 plus Hurricanes and I already own Shunyata Denali 6000/T and Alpha HC!! I debated for a year .... Niagara vs Tritonv3/TyphonQR. I very much prefer the aesthetics of Shunyata black opposed to AQ chrome “black”. I chose the AQ as it was the cheaper option that gave me all the outlets I needed.

I can see being concerned with the aesthetics of ones components, but I don't think that a surge protector should rise to that level. I have a PS Audio Dectet surge protector that I keep hidden behind my power amp so that I don't have to look at it.

No crazier than the rest of us. I also love the look of the Shunyata, and the sound is awesome as well. As Bob said, you’re room and system should be inviting and aesthetically appealing to you - it adds to the enjoyment.

I can't speak for the AQ Niagara or power cables, but in addition to the look of the Shunyata gear, I am very confident your listening will prove to be an exceptionally engaging and enjoyable musical experience. And "quiet."

Let us know how it turns out.

Ivan would like to know why you can see the cables? Have we learned nothing?

Thank you all! Im thinking its probably more of a disease rather than being crazy, hahaha.
I heard so many great things about Shunyata and their technical team was so accommodating to respond to all my questions.
Since I find my set up already warm because of SF and Mcintosh pairing - I'm trying to add more clarity and definition (especially in midrange) via interconnects and powercables. I wanted to make sure I was on the right track with Shunyata.
