Streaming Chet Baker's "Blue Room". Recorded 9 years before he mysteriously fell to his death from a hotel room in Amsterdam (hope that's not an omen since we are headed there in the spring). Nice horn work, and, especially, Phil Markowitz on piano. Perhaps a bit too much singing for my tastes.

Now that I've finally gotten my LPs organized by alphabet, am starting to go thru some of my MHS pressings. All very good. Dusko Goykovich on trumpet, Perdinand Powell on tenor, Tete Montoliu on piano, Joe Nay on drums & Robert Langeries on bass. Is acutally jazz, regardless of the title.

Staying with Ry Cooder (after spinning Ry Cooder on vinyl), moved to streaming his "Jazz". Excellent music and most entertaining. Very high WAF (she is making dance). Good guitar work, but think the album is misnamed.
