Anybody can offer cryo'd tubes, but how many really have the necessary equipment to do it properly? Sticking them in your freezer isn't going to do a thing.
As far as the benefits, personally I think it's along the lines of super duper cables, cable risers and other stuff like that. Just my opinion and possibly someone can hear a difference, I can't. BillWojo |

I was talking one day to someone I believe knows his shit about tubes, and he does not recommend buying them. For what ever reason, I'm still not thinking about getting any.

This is my opinion. It's super cheap compared to the crazy tweaks a lot of people in this hobby do... So why not.

It does nothing to improve the sound of your tubes. The only purpose is to extend the life of your tubes.

Happy with my cryo'd GL KT88s thus far. Only another 1500-2000hr to see if was worth the additional $32.

agree with greekgod and Wasatch. I run Cryoset Gold Lion 12AU7 in my modified conrad johnson PV-12L. I love the balanced sound with these tubes. I don't know if the cryo. treatment improves the native sound of the tubes. I have experienced my tubes lasting longer, meaning they perform quietly, allowing the music to flow from a blacker background.

It does both
Improve the sound - not instantly but over time And extend the life of the tube |
