Mike.......When you have a tuner like the MR85 or MR88, and outside antenna is a must for the absolute best reception. The rewards are worth the effort.

Bob,

We will talk when I'm ready I like the fact HD radio is non-subscription based plus there a few stations on that band that I like. I am sure XM has the potential of sounding better but I am not ready yet. I do like the all in one nature of the MR88, it looks kool and the price is right.

Looks like a very sweet radio tuner Joe. ...Myself I love analog dials and scales.
But more than looks I want SOUND quality.

Analog has its place. Tubes have their place. Digital has its place.
Where you live has its own unique mark on the map.

Maybe my next one Dan. I'd get the MR88 for it's looks alone.
