Default Salamander Archetype Racks - Combined :)

This was a lot of work putting the Archetype 5.0 and Archetype 3.0 together to make 1 rack. They don't make the single shelf that is double wide any longer, so I had to mess around with the leveling and spacing to get it perfect. Now i just need to figure out what to put in the back to cover the wall, and also thinking of doing some LED light strips to have a soft color glow behind the gear. <-- Probably a bad idea, but has anyone tried something like that?

Opinions? Thoughts?

Looks nice and clean -- good job. Lighting may disrupt that. Just MHO.

Thanks. I am actually happy with the way it turned out. So far the best configuration I've found. I'm sure I'll change something in a day or two though

Looks great. Re the lighting, get a Littlelite for the TT, that will give you the soft glow[emoji41]

Thanks to everyone for the compliments. I am just thinking of putting some carpet on the back wrapped around some foam board, then maybe a couple small LEDs just for accent lighting. Not sure how that is all going to work out though. Cheap enough to play with and abandon if it looks cheesy

Rob, if you painted some thin particleboard the same color as the walls and routed the cables through slots so that they end up between the board and the wall, your components would appear to be cable free. (An Ivan trick, IIRC).

P.S. I just looked again at your picture above. Your cable management already looks great! My "false wall" backing idea really wouldn't add anything to your setup.
