Just kidding. I suppose the Klipsch is fine. I haven't heard the latest models, so I can't really say. Placement is easy with those, just park them up against the back wall, separate them at least 6 ft, and you're done! The E-470 would be enough power for those. I use JBLs (Synthesis series, S4700 model, http://www.jblsynthesis.com/products...peakers/s4700/) which on the overall are not highly regarded by quite a few audiophiles. But once they hear them, they're won over for the most part. Have a listen to them if you like horn speakers like the Klipsch. The quality is better overall, but they are more expensive, and not quite as sensitive as the Klipsch Heritage stuff.

Using it as a preamp could get interesting. It would really be something if your Accuphase integrated approaches or even beats the big McIntosh separates!

Yeah, I did notice that about Accuphase. The soundstage could have been bigger, but I'd say the Accuphase is more accurate and reflects more on the recording quality, rather than sweeten or add anything to the pot. I'll tell you one thing though, Accuphase is much better than that other manufacturer in Yokohama!

Thanx . My Accuphase E-470 are comming in the start of may. Im so exited to try this new gear.

I will allso try it as an pre-amplifier for my McIntosh mc1.2KW, and test it against my Mcintosh C48 .

DAC-40 will be ordered after the summer . But untill then, i have my goood old GD Audio Master 7 DAC .
