Default How many watts on your VU meters?

There seems to be an ongoing debate on the quantity of Watts one needs or should need. A poweramp seems to be defined for quality on the horsepower thing..
But is it really all and only about Watts?

Lets ask any Accuphase owner how many Watts is actually shown during:

a) normal/easy listening
b) somewhat higher volume listening
c) Loud listening but not extreme.
d) peaks observed during a,b,c.

Please mention your loudspeaker sensitivity.

Accuphase because it has high precision VU meters.. but be invited to rapport if you own Luxman or any other high precision Vu meter.

The more real world data, the better

A60 + 4365? That's one Hell of a combo! I have the S4700s myself and would like to drive them with Accuphase.

what exactly does peak-hold do?

A70? I hope so on the meters. The Accuphase engineer at CES told me it would be a year or so.
