I'm no interior decorator and I've had 2 pairs of Wilson in various silvers and while silver is my favorite, I don't think it will go with the rest of the theater which will have beige and browns in it. Desert Silver is a nice color but I think the speakers are going to blend too much with the rest of the beige acoustic panels, etc... So I am leaning towards Macademia... It is a very dark brown which will stand out from the rest of the theater and make the speakers "pop" aesthetically speaking. I also like the Polaris in darker colors for some reason so I think it will also look nice in Macademia Metallic.

Beautiful color! I think it would look stunning! I am the type that also likes things to "pop". I am kindof wishing I had known about this color when I got mine repainted because I too am afraid that my Desert Silver will blend too much into my theater room. My bar on the other hand is maple with dark granite and I love the contrast!
Oh well... I still love them no matter what, and I think they will look just fine I say go for that color! I like your thinking behind it! And do just black grills, but that is just my opinion Deb |
