Yes the current BP-26's as well as all the new products like DAC's and BDP's are using the new bead blasted silver finish. james |

Not as imposing as some setups, but very enjoyable. (As the tape on the floor suggests, I'm fine-tuning the speaker positions.)

I have never heard Bryston's products yet, but the 4BCubed amp has my attention as does the SP-3.
Thinking of maybe something like the aforementioned Cubed series amplifier (or two of them in mono) driving Persona 9H, KEF Ref 5, Revel Salon2, or perhaps Sonus Faber Amati speakers (I know there are some driver differences in the selections listed.) for starters. We're starting from the ground-up with a few systems and am trying to pick from the speakers, amps, etc (backwards so to speak.) Just thinking out loud. I've heard way too many good things, esp about the 4B3 amp (esp its cooler running nature and clarity) that I cannot ignore it and rather have pretty much decided that this amp will be in one of our systems. lol So maybe I should pick speakers based upon that.., much listening to do. Any thoughts? Thx. |
