Fuse Questions
I replaced the fuses (5 total) in my amp with HiFi Tuning fuses about 6 months ago - made a nice improvement. I wanted to change the fuse in my preamp's power supply but I couldn't find one with the right specs - it's .375 amps (375 mA). Anybody know of an audiophile fuse with this rating?
Also, is there any concensus as to which fuses to replace (i.e. all of them, or just the ones "in the signal path", however that is determined)? For instance, would it be worthwhile to swap out the fuse on the Bryston 10B Sub's power supply pcb? |

Do you need small or large? Slow or fast blow? That seems like an odd value. If it's a not too critical circuit, there's always 500mA. But do not trust my word

I would change every fuse.
You can use a lower rating fuse. You want it to blow early rather than late coz it can fry your electronics. |

375 mA, large, slow blow. Yeah, I'm definitely *not* gonna swap in a fuse with a higher rating. I did consider a lower rated fuse but that is also not recommended AFAIK.
