Ivo Janssen playing Bach's Goldberg Variations--part of a 20-CD set of the complete harpsichord music played on piano that arrived today. I like it very much--he's a wonderful player and is very well recorded.

A guitar trio could never completely replace the originals, but it places the pieces in an interesting new light and is certainly enjoyable on its own.
