Smile Salk Streamer Roon and C2600
I have a Salk Streamer using Roon and connected via USB to my C2600.

It plays everything lossless from Redbook to DSD using the DAC of the Mcintosh C2600 which is very capable and sounds beautiful.

Default Media streamer


I’m contemplating selling my Sony HAP-Z1ES and upgrading my HTPC to a more modern intel i7-based pc to run JRiver & JRemote. The pc I currently have is ok, but it’s got latency issues, especially when multitasking.

Simply NOT true. I have done it with both X100 and N10. Nothing nightmarish about it! Smooth as pie albeit a slow transfer of my 3Tb collection, took about a day, from my iMac to the Aurender.

I think the naim looks like an excellent product too. Glad it proved to be an excellent fit in your system. You couldn’t go wrong with either choice.
