I just purchased one, and am incredibly pleased with the sound. The EML 45 tubes make a big difference, and I am curious about rolling the other tubes. Do you have any suggestions for the 45 amp?

Very nice indeed! I really like the 5691 from Andy at VTS in the input tube slot. I also like the Sylvannia 80 and G/E 83 tubes for regulators.

I've tried to email Dennis Had because I'm interested in another amp, but I've gotten no response. Wonder if Ebay is the best way to communicate.

Besides the 45's, what other tube makes the most difference in sound? Can 2a3's be used in the 45?
