Default NuPrime STA-9 review

Gentlemen,

here is my review of Power Amp of NuPrime brand, model STA-9.

Don't look on size, price or anything else. This device can tear to pieces many amps.

@Eisener Bart,

Thanks for the review of the NuPrime STA-9. I'm seriously considering the NuPrime IDA-16 and it's good to read the impressions of NuPrime owners.

Do you still use the STA-9? If you do, do you have any thoughts to add to your review? Thanks for any additional input.

Cheers,

Scott

Scott,

I finally bought a pair of NuPrime STA-9 and I guess I received exactly those 2 units which I got for reviewing last year. I actually planned to buy Ref 20, but circumstances were against me.

What I can add for the moment:
I replaced stock fuses by 2 pcs from AMR yesterday. It works, I could hear difference, no doubts.

The rest: I plan to arrange so called "vertical bi-amping" upon buying of PreAmp which can control 4 channels (most probably it will be McIntosh).

You may watch all actions in my Thread here.

Thanks for the reply and the system thread link. You have a great set-up. I look forward to reading how your system evolves.

Sergio.......I thoroughly enjoyed reading your NuPrime STA-9 review and seeing the photos. You made it easy to understand your excitement. This certainly seems to be a fantastic value for serious performance in a small Class D package. Great review.

Sergio,

I just ordered the IDA-16. Here's hoping for the same success you've had with the STA-9s.

Thanks again for your review.

Cheers,

Scott

Thanks, Sergio. I bet I've been on the site. I've been running "circles" around the internet gathering all the info I can.

I'm at the very fun stage now waiting on the delivery date confirmation for the IDA-16.

It will be very interesting to listen to my system with 200 watts. The most power I've had to this point is 50 watts.

Cheers,

Scott
