Default US Football 2011/2012

I thought we could use this thread to cry, gloat, and otherwise discuss the greatest sport that most of the world could care less about... good old fashioned tackle football (NFL/NCAA)!

Go Pack Go! They're looking pretty great already.

Eagles fan, here...the fact that we played the Pack the toughest in the playoffs, last year, was little consolation. I expect us to start slowly, and be much better by season's end.

I got so fired up listening to music, tonight, that I failed to see most of the first half of this game...

Whew... the game that just ended was too close for comfort. Those Saints can play.

The Eagles should be fun to watch this year. I hope we get to see another Pack/Eagles playoff matchup some time soon!

Yep. I am looking forward to Saturdays Michigan -Notre Dame game which will be the first night game at Michigan Stadium. It will be the 232nd consecutive game with over 100,000 in attendance and could top 114,000 which will beat the previous record of 113,090. According to the athletic department they could have easily sold another 25k tickets.

This in the heartland. I'm tailgating before the Iowa/Iowa State game in Ames, Iowa with the in-laws and about 100,000 fans. The parking lot has been full of trucks, SUVs, and grilling since 6:00am. I love football!

No, I didn't...only caught a little of the Phillies. I'd like to watch that ND vs Mich game, tonight, but we have dinner plans.
