Roger Waters New Orleans 7.8.17
I can hardly contain my anticipation.
This Saturday night I will be scratching off another name on my bucket list. And it's a big one. Roger Waters. I never had the opportunity to see Pink Floyd back in the day. This is as close as you can get nowadays. I will be at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans in 2 days ... 11th row. I can't believe I scored these tickets. A good friend sent me a link to the pre-sale and man I couldn't hit that green "buy" button fast enough. I am taking my brother as my wife has no interest in this music. For this tour Roger has crafted a setlist consisting of tracks culled off of Pink Floyd's best albums .... namely Dark Side of the Moon, Animals, Wish You Were Here, and of course Roger's magnum opus, The Wall. Plus 4 tracks from his new album which is quite good. A sonic and visual cornucopia awaits and I'm all ears and eyes. IMG_4221.JPGIMG_0627.JPG

Great show aside from being a little to focused on politics, I just seen him in Tacoma, WA. I hope you enjoy it, there is definitely some history here...

Absolutely phenomenal show. Dead center, 11th row, with row 10th being an open aisle. Never have I had seats this good, for a major act like RW.
Every aspect of the show was first rate. The music is timeless, the performances were flawless, the sound was the BEST I have ever experienced at an arena show, and the video was mesmerizing. For two hours I was transfixed. If anyone is contemplating seeing this tour, don't miss it. I would see this tour again and again if possible.

Man that is great. Saw David Gilmour last year 14 row Hollywood bowl every thing you said performance sound rig effects top notch. No political crap from Dave he kept to himself as it should be.
Would love to see RW he is on my bucket list too. Congrats glad you had a great time man oh man I

Did he play a lot of music from his new album? I've listened to it several times and really like it. Sonics are great as usual too.
