Guys
It looks like I will not be upgrading to the 802D3 The deal I was working on was a private sale, and it fell though at the end. The seller agreed on the price, $500.00 less than asking and then when i was trying to arrange picking them up, he sent me an email saying that he was going to keep them. The deal was a trade of my 803D3 plus cash, as he was moving and wanted to down size. In his original ad he was willing to meet up in Ottawa where I live and then he changed his mind, to I have to pickup in Montreal (2hrs each way) hence the $500.00 off his asking price. I was so looking forward to getting a set of 802D3, but I still have a GREAT speaker. Brian |

I wonder why he got cold feet. Do this, email him in a week... sometimes they have cold feet and will continue with the transaction |

If you trade them back to the dealer what is the difference in moving up to the 802D3's?

And that was the amount the seller had asked for, we settled on $4500.00 plus my 803D3 and then he cancelled the deal.
I would go back to my purchasing dealer and see what he deal we could work out, but my dealer has dropped the line, he went with Vienna Speakers. Anyhow the cash i had for the upgrade has gone on a kitchen make over. Cabinets, Ceramic Tile HEATED floor, 4 door Fridge and dishwasher. I'm hoping to get it finished in the next week or so. Brian |
