Default Power Cord for Pass Labs Phono Stage?

I just purchased a Pass Labs XP-15 phono stage to go with my Pass XP-30 line stage. The XP-15 draws 15 watts. I need a 3m power cord to reach my Denali 6000T. What would be the least expensive Shunyata PC that would be commensurate with the quality of the XP-15? I would prefer the price of the Venom, but assume I should probably stretch & get the Delta NR instead. If I were to go with the Venom, should I get the 14 or the HC?

Thanks!

The Shunyata Venom 14 gauge would be just fine for your phono stage. The HC is primarily intended for high-current (hence the HC designation) applications e.g. amps and power distributors. If you can spring for a Delta NR, so much the better. There are unequivocal improvements in sound quality as you go up the Shunyata line. That being said, the Venom is not to be underestimated; my $95 (at the time) Venom 3 sounded considerably better an $800 WireWorld Silver Electra 5^2.

BTW, I use a 14 gauge Shunyata Venom for powering my HDTV, and you can literally see the improvement in picture quality it brings.

Thanks, Puma Cat! After going back & forth, I just pulled the trigger on the Delta NRs. The KPIP break-in tech of the Deltas tipped the balance - I'm sick of breaking in cables!

The XP-15, Delta NRs, & Synergistic Research Blue fuse should all arrive in about a week. I'll let y'all know what I think once they're set up & broken in...
