Some non-virus reading
Some reading suggestions in rotation here, might be of interest if you’re locked down at home and tired of reading about the virus. I’m sure some of these are well known already, but just in case... All of these should be available on Kindle or Apple Books, so no need to go out to the bookstore. Anyone else reading anything fun?
“Track of the Cat” - the first of Nevada Barr’s series of mysteries based in national parks with park ranger Anna Pigeon - fun, light reading with a likable heroine and great settings, each one in a different park. Anthony Horowitz “Magpie Murders” - classic British whodunit, murder in a small village. “We Gotta Get Out of This Place: The Soundtrack of the Vietnam War” - An interesting read if you lived through the Vietnam War, either at home or in-country, and were a music fan. “Radio Free Boston: The Rise and Fall of WBCN” - a trip down memory lane if you grew up in the Boston area in the 60s and listened to ‘BCN. “Death at La Fenice” - 1st in the series, more atmospheric mysteries based in Venice, with detective Guido Brunelli.
