A classic MANHATTAN

Gentleman Jack Bourbon, Martini & Rossi Sweet Vermouth 3:1, A few splashes of Angostura bitters stirred with ice, garnished with a bourbon infused maraschino cherry.

We've been drinking some Rosemount Estates 2013 Shiraz table wine and it has been excellent. If an indication of those worthy of being put back for some years then the future is bright for Australian wines.

Enjoying a nice Burgundy this evening: 2013 Domaine Antoine Lienhardt Côte de Nuits Villages "Les Essards". Not a high end Burgundy by any means, but it has some of that finesse...
